What's going on

What’s going on?

In my life? Well I have quite a few changes coming my way. I quit my job at The First Presbyterian Church two weeks ago. I will be completely done with it next week; I worked for them for over a year and a half. The reason for this is so that I can serve my church better. I will be at the City Church Offices from 9:00-1:00 Tuesday-Friday to help around the office.

But alas, that is just a minor reason for the change in work. I was given the amazing opportunity to work with my sister Hope. As most of you know my sister has Down Syndrome, or as we call it DS. I will be charged with the task of getting her involved in the community, teaching her to write better, taking her on adventures and helping her with day to day tasks. I. Am. Beyond. Excited. I love my sister dearly and since being married have seen her less and less. Every time I come over to the house she says “Iga you’re back!”  This will be a great thing for the both of us. I could not ask for a better job, I get to hang out with my sister!

Another big/little thing is that Eddy and I were asked to take over the Youth Group recently. We have been in ministry with the youth for 4+ years but this was a bit different for us. Eddy is now the Youth pastor and is doing an amazing job! We love it so much and are honored to take it on! Jarred and Tiffany have been such a great power couple in ministry and they left it very healthy and are still a huge help. We are privileged with being friends with them. It’s also a lot of fun :)

Eddy and I are coming up on our two year annivursery in December. It feels like its flown by but at the same time like we've been married for so much longer. I love taking this adventure with him! God truly blessed me with that man.
I think that’s it for now. My life in a nutshell. Consider this your holiday letter.

Hope everyone is having a good October, try to stay away from this Cold/Flu going around.

Lots of love,

Alyssa Clark
